Designing, building, and shipping reliable software at scale
I'm Akshay, a computer science student at San José State University focused on building fast, reliable systems. My work spans distributed backend infrastructure, low-latency software, and machine learning research, with a strong interest in engineering where performance and correctness both matter.
I've shipped at Cisco and Tesla, and I founded and directed SJHacks in Spring 2025, helping bring together 200+ student builders. Whether I'm working on production systems or research pipelines, I'm motivated by thoughtful engineering and the challenge of building things that hold up at scale.
