Reduced peak consumer lag from 10 min to under 3 min with a custom load-testing producer on AWS.

I'm Akshay, a builder shipping software across different domains. I've worked at Cisco on backend systems, Tesla on tools and ML, and now at Apple on the Screen Time team — in each role, I've focused on real impact and quality execution.

I founded and directed SJHacks in Spring 2025 (200+ builders), which reinforced what I love about engineering: solving hard problems with people who care. I'm motivated by thoughtful code, systems that hold up at scale, and building with teammates who bring their best.
